Tool Distributor Policies
Terms of Payment:
Customers with approved credit are billed invoices with 30 day net terms from invoice date. Overdue accounts are subject to a 1 ˝ % finance charge per month. Accounts over 60 days in arrears are subject to being placed on COD status.
Delivery:
F.O.B. Shipping point. Shipping charges will be added to invoices unless prior arrangements are made at the time the order is placed with Horizon Carbide Tool, Inc.

Blanket Orders $500.00
Blanket Releases $100.00

Quotations:
All quotations will be subject to acceptance within 45 days from date of our quotation unless otherwise specified.
Returns:
All returns require an RMA from Horizon Carbide Tool prior to shipping material back to us. Stock Standard items listed in the current Horizon Carbide Tool Catalog or Price List may be exchanged or returned for credit without a restocking charge provided an RMA is issued within 90 days of the date of the original order. Items returned beyond the 90 day period are subject to a 15% restocking charge. Only full boxes of new product will be accepted for return. All Non-Stock and Special Order items are non-returnable.
Specials:
All Special Order items require a signed customer release on a Horizon Carbide Tool Print before any work can be begin. Horizon Carbide Tool will provide drawings for customer approval. Unless arrangements are made when an order for Special Tooling is placed, we reserve the right to ship up to 10% over or under the order quantity per Industry Standards.
Blanket Orders:
Blanket orders must have specified releases dates and quantities. All items must be shipped within 12 months from the date of the original shipment. The balance of material not released at the end of one (1) year will be shipped and billed.
Test Policy:
Standard Catalog items will be provided for test an evaluation at no charge if a Horizon Carbide Tool Test Results Form is returned to us. Test items may be invoiced after 45 days if we have not received either a purchase order resulting from a successful test or a Horizon Test Results Form.
Stocking Distributor Discount Status:
An Initial Stock Order for Standard Catalog Inserts at $1,000 Net Price or $10,000 in Annual Sales at List Price is required for the Stocking Distributor Discounts. Please see the Horizon Distributor Discount Sheet for details. Accounts must be kept current in order to maintain this discount. Accounts over 60 days are subject to temporary suspension or loss of their Stocking Distributor Status.
Warranty:
We strive for excellence in our products and guarantee all of them to be free from defects in materials and/or workmanship. Any defective product will be replaced at no charge. Please call for information and RMA.
